- AppIcon isn't the most creative name for this program, but it is meant
- to demonstrate a use for the new AppIcon under 2.0.
- What AppIcon does is it opens an icon on the workbench, with the image
- contained in the file printicon.info. Whenever an icon is dropped on
- the opened icon that file will be printed, or more specifically, copied
- to prt:.
- NOTE: be careful. If the file is not ASCII text you will get garbage
- printed. However, it works fine for file from standard text editors
- and README files.
- To exit the program just double click on the icon.
-
- I would greatly appreciate getting feedback on the program. I am just
- beginning to learn how to program the Amiga and would like comments on
- tips and techniques. The program was build around the lattice file
- control libraries because the dos.library isn't documented (to my
- complete surprise) in the RKM Libs and Devices.
